Role summary

As a Sales Support Representative you are responsible for qualifying inbound leads for our field sales teams and engaging in outbound prospecting campaigns. By working closely with Sales Team, Marketing and our channel partners you will directly help provide customers with a frictionless buying journey. This is an exciting opportunity that directly helps contribute to our revenue growth through ongoing support of sales pipeline development and closing activities.


  • Assist with qualifying leads to identify high quality opportunities for the Sales team

  • Assist the Sales team by providing buyers what they need to make an informed buying decision such as product collateral, quotes, and other documentation as needed

  • Assist our channel partners by providing them what they need to give their customers (buyers) to help make informed buying decision such as product collateral, quotes, and other documentation as needed

  • Working closely with Sales and Marketing to assist with outbound prospecting campaigns

  • Utilize CRM software to document activities with prospects and leads, as well as channel partners

  • Support ongoing e-mail, online, and trade show marketing campaigns

  • Build and maintain appropriate knowledge of Appspace products and services, particularly how they integrate into and provide value to customers and partners (training provided)

  • Respond in a timely manner to all inbound leads by providing consistent and timely follow up

  • Additional responsibilities assigned as needed

Experience, skills, and education

  • 1 to 3 years sales and/or marketing experience

  • Prior IT/Software industry experience preferred

  • Exceptional customer service skills: customer-focused, helpful, and personable

  • Excellent organizational and planning skillsAbility to multitask and manage competing priorities and/or deadline

  • Team player with a proactive, never fail attitude that is independently motivated with nominal supervision; a bias for action

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Experience with sales contact management (CRM) platform - Salesforce preferred

  • Ability to learn (technical and professional acumen) and follow sales processes
